I’ve heard that most people tend to be passive in the summer, believing that this is the time of year where business slacks off and there’s not much money to be made.
I say hogwash!
The only thing that changes during the summer is the weather! LOL! As a matter of fact, people do more in the summer time because there’s so much going on like vacations, socializing with barbecue’s picnics, summer gatherings, social networking and more.
Summer is more of a relaxed time of the year, however people tend to talk more, socialize and even listen more! People even take a lot more ‘learning’ courses during the summer as well.
 My friend, Kelly McCausey said that several years ago she heard that business dries up in the summer, however Kelly decided to “approach the summer with intentionality instead of passivity.” Now that’s what I call smart business sense.
The 1st speaker (Wednesday, July 18th) of this series is, Wendy Piersall of Sparkpluggin.com. Her topic: ‘Stop Monetizing Your Blog!’ - uh… not sure about that, but I’ll listen to what she has to say… talking about a contraversial subject. I listened in on the Hot Seminar Series last summer and loved it! There was SO much good information there.
