TWITTER

Everybody is talking about Twitter – Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send “updates” (or “tweets”; text-based posts, up to 140 characters long) to the Twitter website via instant message delivery.

Updates are displayed on the user’s profile page and instantly delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. The sender can restrict delivery to those in his or her circle of friends (delivery to everyone is the default). Users can receive updates via the Twitter website, instant messaging, SMS, RSS, email or through an application.   You can even add it to your Facebook account.

It’s actually fun and you get to meet a lot of cool people.  I like it because I get to stay in touch with friends and watch what everyone is doing.  I have to say however, I’ve just really started getting in the groove of posting more.

As you know, I LOVE networking and what better way to do that than joining really cool social networks (www.whatissocialnetworking.com) meeting and socializing with business partners, associates, friends and family.
