If not, you missed a great call! I was ready with pen and paper in hand and took 4 pages of notes! But I have to tell you, I was SO disappointed when my phone went dead 15 minutes before the end of the call! UGH! That’s just how much I appreciated Ali and the information she freely shared.
I’m looking forward to the second part of this teleseminar on Thursday, March 27th! It’s not too late to get in on this call, although Ali had to assign 4 different telephone numbers to accomodate the 6000+ people who registered.
Here’s what I can tell you that I’m sure happened:
- Her ezine subscription increased.
- Her sales for the evening weren’t shabby either!
I’ll even share with you a tad bit of what was mentioned on the Ezine Marketing Call.
Ali shared her incredible story of how she started with the Ezine Queen. I’m sure a lot of people could relate to her story because we all “start some where.” A lot of small businesses start out with very low budgets or even, no budget at all however, it’s the determination, commitment and dedication that will eventually yield the results you’re looking for.
In case you’re unsure of what an ezine (pronounced: e-zeen) is, it’s “a publication (electronic mail) delivered by email.” Simple eh?
The second part of the teleseminar topic was “7 Basic Reasons a Ezine Will Help Your Business“ and I’ll share number 6 with you because I think this is what most businesses struggle with concerning their newsletters or ezines.
Capture Your Website Visitors
Your website needs to become a “net.” In other words, your intent is to GRAB people to sign up for your publication. She said your ezine comes first before ppc (pay per click) advertising. Ask yourself how are you attracting people to your ezine? What do you have in place that would compel a person to sign up immediately?
Tips suggested:
- Capture Page (compelling content) — for example view mine here
- Video (brief message from you) or;
- Audio (brief message)
- Utilize a reputable delivery service like Constant Contact or Aweber (two services that help increase delivery rate) Side Note: I personally prefer Aweber over CC; IMO they offer much more.

Its an outstanding site, with such great information about online business posted on it.I find this site to be an unique one among other such sites.
